During brainstorming meetings, we discuss genre definitions, marketability, and create a strategy specifically tailored to building your title. With a priority on communication, Polyverse is happy to take a phone call or sit down for a cup of coffee. We even offer optional live design sessions, where we implement requested cover and format changes during the meeting.

We are based in Santa Barbara, and love our local bookstores! In fact, we are active with over 14 retail locations on the West Coast. We also maintain and monitor global sales channels so your title will be available through the Baker & Taylor distribution network.

Polyverse Owner & Founder, Louis Force Torres, has managed over 200 title variants (including physical volumes, E-Books, and Audio Books) developed 34 individual titles from template to print, and has managed translation and distribution contracts in 33 languages.

With 7-years of international publishing experience, Louis Torres consults for independent authors, corporations, and publishing companies. He has been interviewed by the Independent Book Publishers Association Magazine, the Santa Ynez Valley Star, Chat-Spin Radio UK, and has been a judge for the Benjamin Franklin Book Awards for 3 years running.

As both a writer and designer himself, Louis approaches publishing from both the creative and logistical sides, allowing for a well-rounded and comprehensive business model. He focuses on open communication with clients to determine the tone of the work and the voice of the author while implementing a specific and marketable vision.

Louis lives in beautiful Santa Barbara, California with his wife, Amy, and their cappuccino colored, half dog, half coyote, Fauna.
